MALAS FOR SACRED PROTECTION & ADORNMENT

The mala is an ancient tool for meditation consisting of a specific number of beads (usually 108) with individual knots tied between each bead. With each repetition of a mantra we move from bead to bead – keeping our mind and attention focused on the resonance of a mantra, or sacred sound.

The mala, as I have into relationship with it, can also serve as sacred protection and adornment. Wearing a crystal or wooden mala connects us with earth energy, we are reminded of our strength, power and beauty in connection with Mother Nature.

My one-of-a-kind malas are lovingly inspired, created and blessed by the sacred fire under the full moon. I work with both raw and polished semi-precious stones, hand-knotting each one together with the next while continually chanting mantra. In this way each piece becomes a unique and extraordinary embodiment of Divinity Herself – the living weaving of Spirit.

I will work with you to design and create an exceptional custom practice mala for use in your personal japa practice. Most malas are made with with 7mm stone, wood or seed of your choosing.
